WHO I AM:

Once upon a time I spent a decade owning and operating a successful urban CrossFit affiliate which was named one of the top ten best CrossFit gyms in the nation.  During that time I coached Olympic Weightlifting athletes to the National Level, rehabbed post-op athletes back to full access to fitness, and competed at the CrossFit Regional level.  I provided lifestyle, nutrition, and fitness coaching to athletes , coaches, and business owners around the world.

After the sale of my affiliate I dedicated three years to studying the practice of mindfulness, and teaching mindful meditation and movement classes in the Philadelphia area before entering into the wild territory of motherhood while earning my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Arcadia University. My clinical specializations from this time included Neurology, Pediatrics, and Sports PT. After graduation I completed additional coursework through Herman and Wallace while working as an Orthopedic PT to become qualified as a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist. I also spent time working in Neuro Rehab as a PT at Magee Rehab Hospital in Center City, Philadelphia.

I have been increasingly frustrated by the limitations of insurance in the treatment particularly of pelvic health. Chronic pain requires a clinician’s full attention. New parents deserve a full hour of time to address their aches, pains, and concerns. Athletes merit an approach that returns them to their sport with confidence. In 2023 I opened Liberty Performance and Rehab to offer cash-based physical therapy and I only wish I had done this sooner. Liberty Performance and Rehab operates out of Open Box Athletics at 19th and Washington for in-person treatment and PT-informed coaching or ANYWHERE for remote coaching and program design.

When I’m not thinking about movement I like to tinker on the piano and guitar, read travel books, and play hide-and-go-seek with my two boys.

I believe that healing is sacred.
